Channel Maintenance:

 - Setting up integrated maintenance plan for open channels against sand dunes movement, aquatic weed and algae spread in North Sinai and South valley development projects.
- Evaluation and improving the hydraulic efficiency of main open drains and branches in delta region (Bahr Hadoos, Al-Gharbia, Al- Amoum).
- Protection work for the right bank side slopes parallel to railway – Ibrahimia canal.
- Searching alternatives for improving hydraulic efficiency of open channel to ensure sufficient water quantities and levels at tail ends.
- Evaluation of drains side slope stabilization in North Sinai development project.
- Assessment the hazard of sand dunes encroachment towards nile river.
- Protection of major hydraulic structures and watercourses against the aquatic weeds by using developed barriers’ technique.
- Improving the hydraulic efficiency of covered watercourses.
- Open channels maintenance (Tawfiky Diversion).
