 - Survey and monitoring the spread of aquatic weeds and pollution as well as fish infection with pollutants in Lake Nubia and inside Sudanese border.
- Application of biological control using Grass Carp fish in water courses of different regions all over the country and Nile reach between High Aswan Dam and Aswan reservoir.
- Monitoring aquatic weeds in Lake Nasser using remote sensing technique and geographic information system.
- Water hyacinth management in open drains for water quality improvement.
- Using Rice Straw for algae control in Suez Canal.
- Survey and classification of aquatic weeds in Egyptian irrigation and drainage networks and lake Nasser (Annual report).
- Supervising development and operation of fish breeding station in Shalal region Aswan Irrigation Administration since 1994.
- Investigate algae blooming in the River Nile particularly at the inlet of the Drinking water facilities.
- Studying fishermen problems regarding water contamination and water level decrease in Bahr Faroniah open drain – Menofia Governorate.
